A unique album of drawings made by a young pilot, Jan Sęk, in 1938-1943 that have never previously been displayed is an exceptional souvenir linked with the history of Polish aviation. “Sketches Made Before Take Off” is a selection of over eighty drawings of Polish and foreign aircraft, which the author captures just before take-off or during combat flights. The meticulously prepared publication will appear in February 2016, published by the Scientific Publishing Houses of the Institute of Aviation.
